We know that the best way to understand all the benefits Seakeeper brings, is to try it on a boat. For this reason, we have permanently two test boats, that have the Seakeeper 2 installed with lithium batteries, at your disposal in Palma de Mallorca. An open Tempest 32, with a center console and a Beneteau Antares 9 OB, with cabins..
US AND WE WILL
A SEATRIAL WITH THE BOAT AS SOON AS
The sea trial
It consists of an exit to the bay of Palma to carry out a static sea trial, leaving the boat at the mercy of the waves, catching them from the side (the most unfavorable situation) to experience how Seakeeper works. In the case of calm sea, we look for the waves produced by the wake of the ferries that usually leave the port; We also carried out a dynamic sea trial at different speeds (between 3 and 10 knots) also with the wave on the side to simulate the most unfavorable situation.
Even if your boat is much larger, the Seakeeper concept works the same regardless of size, and in any case, small boats are more prone to rocking as they are light and have little beam. Our test units have Lithium batteries to run the Seakeepers in silence (without generator or motors) so that we simulate a silent anchor. Given the low consumption of the equipment, the possibility of silent operation is available even for the largest units such as the SK 35.
Palma de Mallorca airport has daily connections with many Spanish cities and also with enough European capitals to organise the visit for the test. They can also be done on weekends.
